Introduction
This two-day workshop will introduce students to digital photography: from basic operation of a digital camera (camera-phone, point-and-shoot or digital SLR), file formats, "digital darkroom" techniques to optimize photographs (color correction, cropping, noise reduction, etc.) and printing.
As with all workshops I lead, activities will be tailored to the experience level and interests of all participants: from beginners to lifelong photographers who are new to digital.
Details
Transportation to and from the location and lodging are the responsibility of each participant; I will be happy to suggest locations for lodging at reasonable rates.
Participants should bring a digital camera (dSLR with interchangable lenses preferred) & it's instruction manual, enough batteries and memory cards for a weekend of shooting, sturdy tripod (if possible) and laptop (with Photoshop, or other image editing software, installed).
